Section
1: A reasonable deadline shall be
established by the members for receipt of entries for NHSA Championships. The team designated to receive those
entries and to do the seeding for the meet, shall have available a copy of its
team entries to the League at the time of the deadline.
Section
2: The NHSA Championship shall
offer a full complement of events.
Section
3: The age groups for the NHSA
Championships will be as follows; 8 and unders, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16 &
17-18. Relays shall be composed of
the same age groups except that the 15-16 & 17-18 age groups will be
combined and designated 15-18. A
coach may ³age-up² a swimmer for a relay without jeopardizing that swimmer¹s
eligibility in their true age group.
Section
4: The scoring and awards will be determined by the vote of the members at the
annual meeting.
Section
5: There will be a meet jury
composed of a representative from each division as well as the head referee,
the meet director. The meet jury
will act as an appeal function when rule interpretations are required or when
process is questioned. In no way
is this jury t change or alter rules set forth by USS or contained in the NHSA
By-laws, or set forth in this document.
