Each year for the past 20 years, the NHSA has sponsored a scholarship for NHSA graduating seniors who write an essay* “What Swimming in the NHSA Has Meant to Me”. The more recent essays are posted here.

* Submitted essays should always be blind, with no mention of swimmer or team name(s).

2024 Scholarship

Dear NHSA (New Hampshire Swim Association) Graduating Seniors,
Announcing the 20th annual Senior Essay Scholarship award sponsored by the NHSA.

We are asking any and all High School Seniors competing in the NHSA to compose an Essay entitled, “What Swimming in the NHSA Has Meant to Me”. A subcommittee of NHSA coaches will determine which essays will win a Scholarship Award (3 first place awards at $500 each) given at the 2022 NHSA State Championship Meet.   Essays should be blind, with no mention of swimmer or team name(s).  Essays should be submitted to NHSA Secretary Brian Crawford at bcrawford@ehsc.com no later than FRIDAY, March 8, 2024.

We are asking any and all High School seniors competing in the NHSA to compose an Essay entitled, “What Swimming in the NHSA Has Meant to Me”.
